Sheet Duplicator

Duplicate one sheet multiple times with all its viewports.

Use the filter box to find the sheet by its Number or Name.

There is an checkbox to choose if you want to duplicate the Dependent Views as Dependent or as normal duplicates.

There are many applications out there to duplicate sheets. Some are free, others require to pay. I have tried a couple and they all tend to be too complex. For the sake of the team I wanted an app that quickly duplicate sheets without having to click in too many options. That is the reason this one is so simple.

Please note:

• Views are duplicated with Detailing as default. The duplicate option for Dependent Views is given by the checkbox mentioned above.

• Schedules and Legend Views are not duplicated. Instead, a new instance of the same Schedule/Legend is placed in the duplicated sheet.

• A suffix _DupX is automatically added to the new sheet number and view names. This is to avoid duplicate numbers and names.

• Title Blocks don´t preserve instance parameter values, so you should revise those values after duplication.

• The Revit API does not give access to editing the View Title Location of Viewports. This means that you may have to reposition the View Titles manually.
